FAQ

So you've got questions about OnTray — fair enough. We didn't exactly invent the tray, but we did figure out how to make one that actually fits your wheelchair, holds your stuff, and doesn't look like it came from a hospital supply closet circa 1987. Below are the questions we get asked most. If yours isn't here, just ask!

How much does a tray cost?

Pricing depends on size, toppings, and attachment type but typically runs between $200 - $400. Download the template, customize it, and mail it back. Then we'll reach out and give you a quote. No surprises.

What are the trays made from?

Trays are made of 3/8" acrylic which is lightweight, durable, and easy to clean — suitable for everyday use.

Are they safe for food and drinks?

Yes. Materials are food-safe and can include optional ½-inch bumper edges to keep items from sliding off.

Can I add a tablet or AAC device mount?

That's always tricky, right? We can customize a solutions, but we'll probably need to chat about it first.

What attachment options are there?

Two options: Armrest (hold-down clamp onto the armrest) or Bar (mounts to the wheelchair frame). Both are shown in the template.

Any sizing rules I should know?

If using the Armrest Option, the tray must be at least 3 inches wider than the armrest on each side.

How long does delivery take?

Allow approximately 10 days from when we receive your completed template. We may follow up with a few questions before we start building.

What if it doesn't fit?

We build to your exact specs and may check in before production. If something's off when it arrives, get in touch and we'll make it right.
